Who does God say I am?
I'm just taking it one step at a time.
I'll be honest.
I don't remember much about the season of life connected to this video feed post.
I've been too consumed with doing what the Lord is asking me to do.
I don't think about the past.
Once I knew what I was born to do...
I gave myself 100% to it.
"For I know the plans I have for you,'" declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" - Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
Many of us are very familiar with this scripture.
Some of us know the Lord has a plan for our lives.
THE PLAN.
Some of us are still figuring out what we believe (You either believe, or you don't).
If you're not connected to Jesus, you can pray this now:
Lord, I need a Savior. I might not have all the answers, but I ask you to come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. I'll give you everything.
Now find a church and tell people about Jesus!
If you're new to faith or a veteran, we all need to surrender.
You won't find your calling in life until you give EVERYTHING to God to fulfill it.
"'Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,' declares the Lord, 'and will bring you back from captivity.'" - Jeremiah 29:12-14 NIV
When I sought the Lord with ALL MY HEART, that's when I found Him. I found His voice saying "Go."
I had to go with God's plan.
I had worked in ministry for years, but always with the time restrictions that naturally come when you have a job.
I always was bumping into those restrictions and it confined the ministry God gave me to a smaller box that what I have available now.
There comes a time for all of us when the Lord is asking for a new sacrifice.
For me it was money.
For years, I had a great plan for retirement and paying for the kids' college.
But the Lord wanted me to sacrifice that and my salary to go into ministry FOR HIM.
I had to be willing to give up what I held dear...
And allow the Lord to change my heart and make it like His.
What is standing in your way?
I guarantee you... if you give it up... it's more than worth it.
"The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.'" - Jeremiah 1:4-5 NIV
God's plan is perfect.
You fit the mold He set aside... just for YOU.
There's a work for you to do.
And it's connected to HIS KINGDOM.
It's not about YOU.
It's all about God.
I pray you will give EVERYTHING to Him and receive the great reward He has for you.
