"The Year Of The Altar:" Update #1

Glory to the Lord. I pray that you are nestled into His heart.

I’m here to give an update—a prophetic update—on the Year of the Altar. The Lord has been increasingly putting it on my heart to be more communicative this year about what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.

I don’t know everything. I only know in part, but I want to share what I do know so that we can understand the times and the seasons and know what to do.

The Year of the Altar

This is the Year of the Altar. As I sought the Lord months ago, He began to show me through Scripture that this would be a season of greater prayer—not as a burden, but as a deeper recognition of the beauty of Jesus Christ. He is calling us into wonder.

He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. While the world is moving in every direction, God is calling His people to peace, to sit at His feet, and to be still before Him.

Confirmed by the Times

We’ve already stepped into the second month of the year, and the first month alone confirmed what God spoke. This is a year of contending—a year of prayer, intercession, and spiritual warfare—because rebellion is increasing in the land.

As believers, we are meant to fight in the Spirit so that what manifests in the natural can be handled spiritually. The Holy Spirit directs heaven’s response in perfect alignment with the will of God.

Don’t Take Sides—Seek God

It is tempting to take sides in moments of upheaval, but the Lord is calling us higher. His heart is not strife—it is redemption. At the altar, we learn God’s balanced heart, where mercy and justice meet.

God does not transform the world through judgment alone. He awakens believers through judgment, and the world is changed through love expressed in compassion, gentleness, and faith working through love.

An Excellent Spirit in the Furnace

The Lord is seeking those who will have an excellent spirit in Babylon. That spirit is formed in the furnace. The fire is not only for testimony—it is for intimacy. In the fire, we become acquainted with the One who stands with us.

He wants us to carry the spirit of Jesus and not get swept up in the noise of the world.

The Church Being Cleansed

This year, the Lord is cleansing His church. Exposure is not meant to produce pride but humility. Scripture warns us to take heed lest we fall. God is serious about purity and holiness.

Our posture must be restoration with gentleness, not judgment or public spectacle.

Anchored in the Storm

This is also the Year of the Anchor. The altar is where we are anchored while storms rage around us. God speaks out of the whirlwind, and like Jesus, we are called to rest in peace even in the storm.

This is a year of contending, but it is also a year of comfort.

What Contending Looks Like

Contending begins with seeking God’s promises. When resistance increases—health challenges, financial pressure, unexpected opposition—it may be a sign that breakthrough is near.

Stay on the altar. Let the Lord burn away fear, hesitation, and distraction.

The Treasures of Snow

There are seasons when God slows us down so He can cleanse and refine us. In stillness, He reveals hidden things. These are the treasures of snow—secrets revealed to those who linger in His presence.

This is a call to deeper commitment, less distraction, and greater attentiveness to the Spirit of God.

Closing Prayer

Lord, we thank You for the altar—the place of surrender, purification, and encounter. Consume us with Your fire. Make us attentive to Your voice and committed to Your Kingdom. Perfect Your church so that her light will shine brightly. In Jesus’ name, amen.
