Recently, the Lord appeared to me in a dream and He was so full of peace. He looked at me and spoke to my spirit and said, "I'm calling Michael."
This is a Word that will encourage you. The Lord is not afraid, of course. And He has revealed to me that He is coming to the rescue of nations.
We will see great and dramatic change in nations due to unusual heavenly activity. Strongholds over nations will be broken. And we will see the will of God invade the earth.
The Lord imparted to me this truth as I was listening to His voice. He spoke this into my spirit, that His people will experience Psalm 23:
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
Psalm 23:1-6 NKJV
The Lord does not want you to be afraid! He has everything under control. There is much upheaval in the world and a great measure of confusion. Do not be deceived. We have not seen the Great Awakening, nor have we seen the global revival that is coming. The Lord is preparing the world for a global harvest. Do not be dismayed or let your heart be troubled. God has a plan and has always had a plan!
It was made quite plain to me that the Lord is calling on Michael to instigate a great and coming shift in the nations. There is constant war in the heavenly realms and the Lord is truly in charge of it all. Michael has not yet come, but when he does, there will be great spiritual victory in nations where darkness has ruled.
When we study the angel Michael, we know he is called an "archangel." This means he is a captain, leader, chief of the angels. We also note that he is described as the angel who contends with Satan himself:
"Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil..."
Jude 1:9 NKJV
Michael is called a "prince" in the scriptures. We know this to mean that he is one of great authority over vast territory. This is the same concept behind the word "principalities," of which Paul writes when he encourages us to see things spiritually. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood!
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Ephesians 6:2 NKJV
Michael is a war general, commanding angels in their warfare against the demonic angels under the command of Satan. The dark angels feature principalities, which again, are spiritual beings who have been given authority by mankind by our sin and forfeiture of dominion through the fall of Adam and Eve. Satan is called the "ruler of this world" by the Lord Jesus Himself.
"I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me."
John 14:20 NKJV
What does all this mean? It means Michael has been called by the Lord to combat spiritual wickedness in the unseen realm at the highest levels of warfare. Michael opposes on the highest authorities in the heavens. So, when the Lord says, "I'm calling Michael," it's a signal that the Father has his sights on ending the enemies reign over nations and breaking strongholds over people in large measure. There will be a great and coming victory in the heavenly realms that will combat and turn around the upheaval and confusion and gross darkness that is seeking to cover the earth!
So, what does this mean for us? Again, we must not war against flesh and blood. One thing has become crystal clear over the past several years. We cannot depend on politics or diplomacy. The Lord is truly who He says He is. He is "I Am." There is no one above Him or beside Him. He has no competition. So, with every seeming advance of the darkness, the enemy is actually playing into the hands of the Lord.
Our role is PRAYER. As we pray, the ministers to the Saints, the angels, go to war. The heavenly realms are impacted by HOW YOU PRAY! Revelation 8:1-5 teaches us that the prayers of the Saints are held in bowls in the throne room of heaven and angels reach in and throw those prayers back toward the earth and there is instant impact! As our prayers to, so go the angels!
Do not be discouraged! Do not give up hope. Jesus is alive and you are in the Army of the Lord. Pray without ceasing for the Lord's glory to be revealed. Allow Him to use you to transform your city, state, and the nations! Do not stop praying for righteousness to invade the earth. Pray for the Spirit of God to cover the earth like the water covers the sea!
God has a plan. He's calling Michael to battle. So, you can have faith that your prayers are going to work in the unseen realm. This Word was released from the Lord in order for us to know it is time to go to war!! May we pray and never give up!
