5786: The Hebrew "Year Of The Anchor"

We are approaching the end of one year and the start of a new year on God's calendar. To remind you, the Lord instituted a brand new way to keep time after He set His people free from bondage.

Why is this significant for believers today? Well, when you were translated in to the Kingdom of Light, you also became subject and influenced by the calendar of God. This is the only calendar the Lord instituted in human history.

Previously, mankind operated by the timeframe and authority of men; kings and kingdoms who were keeping time in order to make sense of their days, weeks, months, and years. Often, these calendars were indicators for when the harvest would come, or when it was time to plant crops. People associated their sustenance as well as their seasons of worship by the calendar of their culture.

God's calendar is also an indicator. Baked into everything the Lord does, are prophetic messages, signs, and ways to sense what is in His heart for His people. We are His special people, who have been set apart for His glory. We are set apart to experience the glory of His goodness and His presence. So, the calendar of God is important for us to understand so that we can access what He is speaking into our lives.

Yes, God's calendar speaks! And what He speaks carries with it the power to perform. With that, let us dive into the Hebrew Year 5786, which is set to begin at sundown on Monday September 22nd.

What is God saying in the Hebrew Year 5786? I'm hearing simply that it is THE YEAR OF THE ANCHOR.

"This [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the [Presence] behind the veil"

Hebrews 6:19 NKJV

Now, let me take a moment to explain why I believe this will be THE YEAR OF THE ANCHOR. When you look at the Hebrew number representing "86," the letters that correspond with that number each have a powerful meaning. The number 80 we have discussed before. It is the number that speaks into this entire decade. In Hebrew tradition, letters are connected to numbers, and vice versa. The number 8 in Hebrew is connected to the 8th letter in the Hebrew aleph bet, a letter called "pey." This letter, when written in ancient and modern Hebrew looks like a mouth.

From this, we can determine this entire decade we are encouraged to lean into the Lord's Mouth and His Word, but not just the written Word, but His voice speaking into your spirit.

It is a decade to pay particular attention to developing an ear for the Lord's voice. Are you praying? Are you listening? Are you responding to what you hear? Then, you are in prime position to receive the rewards that come from His Word.

In the year 5786, the reward is represented by the number 6. The number six in Hebrew is connected to the sixth letter, a letter called a "vav." Vav looks like a hook or a tent peg. In Hebrew tradition is represents being anchored or “hooked” to something.

I believe the Lord’s perfect will for Hebrew year 5786 is for us to know His voice and be anchored or “hooked” to His voice. Wow!

The Bible encourages us to be connected to the Lord’s voice for life.

So, how do we apply this in our own lives? I believe the simplest way to see this is from a perspective of UNDERSTANDING. Do you understand what the Lord is saying to you? Is it applicable to your life? How are you receiving and living His Word for you?

Philip came across a man who was reading God's word, but he needed help with understanding it. He asked for help because he knew he was not getting an adequate interpretation of what the words were saying to him. He did not have the Holy Spirit. He did not have faith in Jesus. He was an observer and admirer of the Word, but he was not a DOER.

"So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him."

Acts 8:30-31 (NKJV)

God wants you to be so anchored in His Word, that you will be a DOER OF THE WORD.

He wants you to be like this foreigner, who didn't even have Greek or Hebrew as his native language, but he discerned there was a deeper understanding being required of him. And... He was HUMBLE enough to ask for help.

This is the year for you to come back to God's Church fellowship. If you've been hanging out and watching at home, the Lord says, "It's time to come home. Come to my house." Everything you need is in your Father's house.

He wants you anchored in a place where you can be in the position of a disciple. A disciple is a student. Will you allow the Lord to teach you? He has given us pastors and teachers as gifts for His Body. He wants to nourish you and feed you and give you what you don't even know that you need!

“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!"

Luke 15:17 NKJV

God will speak to you in times of headwinds and opposition. There will be much rebellion in the land against the people of God. There will be blatant schemes to usurp the power of God’s Word in our schools. There will be great rebellion in the land against Israel.

During this time of great division - the Lord wants to anchor you. He wants to establish your roots. He wants your roots to reach the deepest of ground. He wants you to get the most benefit from the riches of the hidden soil of His heart. He wants you to dive deeper into His heart

You will need to bow in this season. The deeper you go into the ocean the greater the pressure - to such an extent that it will crush you

Allow the weight of God’s glory to crush you in this season. Allow yourself to go deeper into His mind and desires for you and the earth. Allow yourself to become a living sacrifice holy and acceptable.

"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle [you.]

To Him [be] the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."

1 Peter 5:10-11 (NKJV)

God wants to establish you as the earth becomes more and more devoted to Satan and the building of Babylon.

2026 will be a year of great rebellion in the earth. The earth’s calendar signals rebellion. But God’s calendar says - be anchored in me even as the earth rebels.

The number 13 is a number of rebellion. It’s one step off from12 and 14, not Kingdom (12's prophetic meaning), nor perfected (14's prophetic meaning). But Satan's schemes and plans can be close enough to righteousness that people who don’t have the Holy Spirit guiding them will think they are right.

Don’t take the bait. No plan of man will receive the blessing of God. Sift what you hear.

I hear the Lord say - “This is a year I will teach you to sift and remove impurities in your life. You will see me rightly. You will see my righteousness.”

No plan of man will receive the blessing of God. Beware the God of money. There are many prophets who are right when they say the Kingdom is experiencing a transfer of resources. But money cannot be your God.

Be anchored in Him!
