"Father Forgive Them"

Jesus said, "Forgive them."

He didn’t see people as the fight, even as they mocked, rejected and persecuted Him.

He saw the spiritual realm. He saw the demons influencing the people.

So He prayed for the people to be blessed even as they were being oppressed and influenced by His enemy.

“And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.
And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”” Luke‬ ‭23:33-35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We must remember...

The fight is in the spirit.

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NKJV
