At the Feet of Jesus: Revival in Bogotá, Colombia

Hallelujah! I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I think about how many people have prayed, encouraged me, and donated to help us carry the Word of the Lord and the love of Jesus to people around the world.

Up to this point, I have ministered in Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, Argentina, Kenya, and, of course, here in the United States. Every prayer, gift, and word of encouragement has helped make this work possible. I praise God for each person who has stood with us.

Preparing Bogotá for Revival

Our most recent trip was to Bogotá, Colombia. It was a short but full trip. I spent four complete days ministering there, not including the travel days.

I served alongside Pastor Fernando Riano and his wife, who pastor several churches collectively known as Revive Colombia. They also partner with other churches throughout the area as they work together to reach the city with the gospel.

I arrived approximately six weeks before a citywide gospel crusade planned for an area outside Bogotá. My friend Steve Fatow is scheduled to minister during that crusade for several days in July.

My role on this trip was similar to the role the Lord has given me in several other cities: to go ahead of the larger crusade and minister in the participating churches. These revival meetings help stir the people to pray, take the gospel into the streets, and freely give what they have freely received from the Lord.

During these meetings, we saw the Spirit of God touch many people. People received healing, freedom from demonic oppression, prophetic encouragement, and renewed faith in what God has called them to do.

Releasing Business and Legacy

Before I left for Colombia, the Lord spoke to me about prophesying businesses over the people. He instructed me to speak to their spirits and declare that some of them were business owners.

God wanted to release freedom into their hearts to believe that He had given them businesses through which they could build a legacy and create wealth for generations to come.

During the services, I laid hands on several people, and the Holy Spirit touched them powerfully. The Lord spoke into people’s lives, and many received prophetic words about their futures, families, callings, and businesses.

The Year of the Altar

Throughout 2026, I have been preaching about the altar. At the beginning of the year, I released the word that this is the Year of the Altar.

The Lord has given me significant revelation about what happens at the altar. One way to describe it is as a renewal of our vows to God. This is not something that should happen only once. It is a renewal that should take place continually in our personal lives and during our corporate worship services.

We often underestimate the power of the altar and what it means to approach the Lord. Coming to the altar is not merely walking to the front of a church building. It represents surrender, personal devotion, and a renewed commitment to serve God at any cost.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1

The altar is where we declare again that we are living sacrifices. We allow the Lord to bring us to the end of ourselves, take our will, and replace it with His will. We surrender to His beauty, love, mercy, correction, and everything He is.

Who Will Join Me at His Feet?

During one particular service, I was preaching, praying, and prophesying as I walked through the congregation. The Lord often leads me to minister this way.

After walking through the crowd, I returned to the altar and fell on my face before the Lord. I was still holding the microphone when I began inviting the people to join me.

I asked, “Who else is here to join me at the feet of Jesus?”

That invitation carries the imagery of Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus. While Martha was distracted by many responsibilities, Mary chose the one thing that was necessary.

“But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42

What is truly necessary is for us to come to Him. This is not about religious activity, appearing important, being recognized, or being seen by others. It is the exact opposite.

At the feet of Jesus, we declare, “I am not the center. Everything is about You. You are preeminent.”

Weeping Before Jesus

As I continued inviting people to join me at the feet of Jesus, a flood of people came forward.

Earlier in the service, I had prophesied that the Lord was healing deep wounds of the soul. Because so many people were present, I did not believe the wisdom of God was to invite everyone forward for individual prayer and the laying on of hands. Instead, I released what the Lord was speaking over the congregation.

However, when I invited them simply to come to Jesus, they came.

I cannot tell you exactly how many people approached the altar because I did not feel the need to step back and count them. I only know there were many of us weeping together at the feet of Jesus.

Some people might consider a moment like this unremarkable. We often want to see dramatic miracles. We want to see limbs restored, deaf ears opened, and bodies healed.

I have seen people regain their hearing during our meetings. I have seen people walk, backs and hips healed, and people delivered from demonic spirits. Those manifestations of God’s power are wonderful.

But this moment was sweet.

It was the love of God being poured out upon broken people.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8

A Bride Fully Surrendered

The people at the altar were not coming because they wanted something from God. They simply wanted to be available to everything God is. They wanted to make all of themselves available to Him.

That is what a bride does.

We wept before the Lord and yearned for Him. I believe it was a moment that typified true revival. Revival is not about us. It is about wanting Him to come, be recognized, and be acknowledged in all our ways.

It is about Jesus being prioritized, supreme, and enthroned in our praises.

There is something powerful about recognizing His beauty and declaring His lordship. We call for the Teacher. We call for our Lord. We call upon His name because our hearts are turning toward Him.

“Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.” Genesis 4:26

God considered that moment important enough to record in Scripture. In the middle of a wicked generation, people began turning their hearts toward Him and calling upon His name.

That is the cry of revival.
